Equip the Next Generation to Pursue The Great Commission

Girls in Action

"Go Forward"

Girls in Action (GA’s) is for grades 1st-6th grade. Mrs. Audrey and Mrs. Synclare lead this group of girls. The GA Motto is “Go Forward!” and Girls in Action do just that. GA’s helps girls grow spiritually, while helping both younger and older girls have mission’s experiences that lay a foundation for coming to faith in Christ as Savior and make missions an important part of their daily lives. We learn a biblical worldview, ways to demonstrate Christ’s love to others, and their part in God’s plan while earning badges. We always talk about our monthly missionary. We do outreach events in our community. We have done a sleepover and learned how to cook and camping trips here locally. They memorize scripture and do outreach to earn badges.

Girls in Action Principles

GA Motto: Go Forward!

GA Scripture Verse: “Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what he has done. Announce how honored he is.” —Isaiah 12:4 (NIrV 1998)

GA Lifestyle Verse: “The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must treat people fairly. You must love others faithfully. And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to” —Micah 6:8 (NIrV 1998)

GA Pledge: As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by learning about missions, praying for missions, giving to missions, doing missions, and participating in the work of the church.

Royal Ambassadors

"We are Ambassadors for Christ"

Mr. Joe has a 5 point agenda:
1) They take roll call, prayer request, learn a bible verse each week and discuss it, and someone takes turns each week leading them in prayer. 2)They have a devotion together.
3)They talk business. This includes talk that prepares them for next week, if any of them brought cans, if an event is coming up he will send home a letter after going over it with the boys.
4)Main class time is about 25 minutes. They discuss their mission activities and interest activities at this time. He also has them work on advancement so some children can get their vest.
5)He has closing prayers and always has a child lead this.

Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a missions discipleship group for boys in grades 1–6. RAs provides an opportunity for boys to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and relationally with others through missions involvement and character development.
Now, more than ever, the Church must commit to discipling boys as they follow Jesus and live on mission. By developing missions discipleship groups for boys, you create firsthand experiences that will prepare them to live each day as ambassadors for Christ.

RA Guiding Principles

RA Motto: "We are Ambassadors for Christ," not only gives the organization its name, but also gives the boys and leaders a lifestyle goal. This motto is taken from Scripture, specifically 2 Corinthians 5:20.

RA Scripture Passage: The RA Scripture Passage describes the purpose of Royal Ambassadors: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come. Now everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ; certain that God is appealing through us, we plead on Christ's behalf, 'Be reconciled to God.'" —2 Corinthians 5:17–20 (HCSB)

RA Virtues: Ten specific biblical virtues that strengthen the motto and the pledge: Loyalty, Friendship, Courage, Responsibility, Honesty, Faith, Compassion, Perseverance, Teamwork, and Self-Discipline. One virtue is highlighted each month in Missions Journey: Kids Leader.

RA Pledge: The RA Pledge makes the motto come alive in the daily lives of boys and leaders: As a Royal Ambassador I will do my best: to become a well-informed, responsible follower of Christ; to have a Christlike concern for all people; to learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world; to work with others in sharing Christ; and to keep myself clean and healthy in mind and body.

Mission Friends

"I Can"

Mission Friend's unofficial Scripture Passage: "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a difficult time." Proverbs 17:17 CSB

For our preschool friends ages 4 & 5 years of age, we have Mission Friends lead by Mrs. Angie and Mrs. Jessica. In Mission Friends preschoolers develop a mission’s heart as they move from a focus on themselves to a focus on others. We help them grow toward God as they become aware that God wants everyone to know of His love. This program is to provide preschoolers the building blocks of faith and teach them of God’s love for all people. Through engaging activities , games and stories each week; they will move from a focus on self to a focus on others. They learn about missions through bible thoughts related to missions , fun hands-on activities , mission stories , cultural learning activities , sensory activities ,prayer times , giving offerings , and helping others. Mrs. Angie also has created centers for them to have some free play time in the classroom.
